First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapists

Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions affect over 20 million people in the UK and can range from minor injuries to long-term conditions. Sandhills PCN has commissioned Circle Bedfordshire MSK to provide appointments for you to see Advanced First Contact Practitioners. These can be booked directly by calling your Practice or may be arranged for you after you have seen another Clinician. 

 

What can they see?

Muscular back pain Neck Pain Shoulder pain Elbow pain
Hand pain Fingers pain Trunk Hips pain
Knees pain Ankle pain Feet pain Toe pain
Any injuries – sprains and strains Arthritis or suspected age related changes Neck/Back pain including sciatica, leg pain, pins and needles, numbness Anyone who has previously tried physiotherapy for an issue but not found it affective

What can they do?

You will receive a detailed assessment and treatment plan

They can organise appropriate onward referrals  or investigations if needed.
